What You Will Learn

This course covers social science topics from Class 1 to Class 12, structured in five stages.

Stage 1: Foundational (Class 1–2)

• Understand family, school, and neighborhood.

• Learn to read basic maps, like home and classroom.

• Identify helpers in society, such as police, teachers, and doctors.

Stage 2: Preparatory (Class 3–5)

• Study local government structures, including Panchayat and Municipality.

• Explore the environment and natural resources.

• Learn about festivals and cultural diversity.

Stage 3: Middle (Class 6–8)

• Examine ancient to medieval Indian history.

• Understand Earth's geography, climate, and resources.

• Learn about democracy and government structure in civics.

Stage 4: Secondary (Class 9–10)

• Study modern Indian history.

• Explore geography of resources and development.

• Learn about democratic institutions and governance in civics.

• Understand development economics and poverty issues.

Stage 5: Senior Secondary (Class 11–12)

• Class 11 topics include political science, Indian constitution, sociology basics, and economic development.

• Class 12 topics cover contemporary world politics, Indian politics post-independence, and development economics.

Throughout the course, you will practice various skills:

The course includes activities such as:

• Mock parliaments and moot courts.

Assessment will include:

Optional add-ons for advanced students include internships, data analysis, and participation in debates and model United Nations.
